2021: Earned Academic All-PacWest distinction… Appeared in 13 games with three starts on the backline in her senior year… Played a total of 547 minutes… Contributed to seven clean sheets for the Cougars this year.
2020: No official season due to global pandemic.
2019 (Sophomore): Appeared in 14 games, made 12 starts… Was a key member of the Cougar defense, as she tallied over 1,000 minutes played… Helped Azusa Pacific shut out four opponents… Academic All-PacWest selection.
2018 (Freshman): Started all 17 games…scored first career goal at Concordia on Sept. 29, sending the game to overtime…scored game-winning goal against Fresno Pacific Oct. 18, earning a PacWest Freshman of the Week award in the process
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four varsity years at Port of Los Angeles High School… Captained the team two years… Two-time League Champions...Led the team to the 2017 CIF Division III Championships… Earned Defender and Player of the Year honors as a junior
PERSONAL: Daughter of Colleen and Greg Messner… Has a younger brother and younger sister…Hopes to pursue a career as an orthopedic surgeon after graduation…Enjoys drawing and painting.
