Biography

THIS YEAR: Sophomore Ryan Reed begins her first season with the Azusa Pacific women’s cross country program. The 5-foot-6 runner will also compete for the Cougars’ track and field program in the 400-meter hurdles.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School in Upper Marlboro, Md., in 2025... competed in track and field from 2021–24... ran for the Pumas... competed for Glenarden Track Club for two years.

PERSONAL: Born Apr. 13, 2007, in Annapolis, Md. ... daughter of James Herbert and Shannon Reed... has one brother (Anton) and one sister (Randee)... majoring in criminal justice... plans to become an intellectual property lawyer... enjoys knitting, crocheting, playing the violin and writing.
