2021: Ran four races during her first collegiate season… Had a season-best finish of 49th at the PacWest Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Ran 4 seasons of cross country for Head Coach Mark Ashley at Richland High in North Richland Hills, Texas, in the Dallas-Forth Worth metroplex … Competed in 31 races during her 4-year prep career, which included a COVID-shortened 2020 campaign of just 3 meets … Enjoyed an excellent 2019 junior season when she clocked a 5K personal-best of 20:00.0 … Posted back-to-back eighth-place finishes at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) 6A District 03 championship meet as a junior (20:56.9) and sophomore (21:09.7) … As a freshman was 13th at the UIL 5A District 8 Championship Meet … In track & field, specialized in the 800- and 1600-meters, recording career-bests of 2:31.09 and 5:44.1 during her sophomore year … Qualified for the UIL 6A Area 03/04 Meet where she ran a 2:35.43 800 meters.
PERSONAL: Born Nov. 29, 2002, to Jason (firefighter) and Jennifer (teacher) Brawner … Has one younger sister … Majoring in Allied Health with the hope of becoming a nurse or doctor.
