THIS YEAR: An NAIA Player of the Year candidate, senior Jacqueline Godoy is an All-American do-everything guard ... Can shoot from the perimeter, break down defenses off the dribble and direct an offense from the point ... Can rebound and play defense as well ? Explosive, smart and an outstanding passer ... Plays either guard position as well as small forward ... Should press once again for conference player of the year recognition. 

2001: Led the Cougars in scoring (15.2 ppg.), assists (165), steals (116) and free throw attempts (210) and makes (148) and was second in rebounding (6.0 rpg.) in earning All-American second team recognition ... Named 2001 GSAC Player of the Year ? Shot 49.3% (132-for-268) from the floor and 40% (30-for-75) from beyond the arc ... Scored in double-figures in 23 games, including a stretch of 13 straight GSAC contests ... Poured in a season-high 32 points vs. Point Loma (Feb. 3) ... Had 4 games in double-digit assists, including a season-high 13 vs. Point Loma (Jan. 6) ... Had 11 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals vs. Christian Heritage (Jan. 27) ... Scored 29 points and had 11 assists vs. eventual NCAA Division II national champion Cal Poly Pomona (Nov. 21). 

WAYLAND BAPTIST: Named NAIA All-American third team during her 2000 sophomore season at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas ... Averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists while playing in the Sooner Athletic Conference, generally regarded as the NAIA's top conference for women's basketball ... Was a 2-time All-Sooner Athletic Conference pick ... Maintained a 3.9 GPA in her 2 years at WBU.
