Biography

1998: A junior at Azusa Pacific, Elizabeth Real returns to competitive basketball for the first time since her junior year in high school . . . Will spend 1998 as a developmental year at the guard spot. 

JORGENSON’S JOT: "Elizabeth is a hard worker and a self disciplined player. She needs to use this season to get used to our transitional style and just get some playing time in practice." 

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in basketball and cross country at Azusa High School from which she graduated from in 1995 . . . Won league title as a junior . . . Medalled in two invitationals in cross-country. 

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 3, 1977, to Gerardo Gomez and Elba Chavez, in Azusa, Calif. . . . 1 of 4 children . . . Enjoys bike riding, swimming and science fiction movies . . . Majoring in computer science with a math minor . . . Plans to go to graduate school in programming.
