Biography
The 2025-26 Sayoc Report: Entering her fourth season with the Cougars, Sayoc brings elite playmaking and defensive intensity as the APU kicks off the Dan Ploog-Era. She’ll continue to run the offense with veteran savvy and has the potential to lead the PacWest as well as the West Region in assists.

2023-24: As a 2024 sophomore, appeared in 31 of the Cougars' 32 games, starting 2 in place of the injured Uyehara ... Averaged 2.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in nearly 16 minutes of play per game ... Matched her career-high wtih 8 points on 3-for-4 shooting in just 14 minutes of play in a 75-56 victory at Concordia-Irvine ... In her first career-start, handed out a career-high 7 assists in a 78-56 victory at Academy of Art ... Followed that start by playing all 40 minutes of a 65-60 win at Dominican ... Named to the PacWest All-Academic team.
2022-23: Averaged 9 minutes in 30 appearances off the bench during her 2023 freshman campaign … Scored 54 points with 36 rebounds and 28 assists … Had a season-high 8 points against Cal State San Marcos in the NCAA Division II West Region semifinals ... Earned PacWest All-Academic recognition.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a 4-year starter and Providence High in Burbank, Calif., where she was a 3-time team MVP and a 2-time All-Prep League first team pick ... Named All-CIF following her junior campaign ... As a senior lead the Pioneers to a Prep League title after averaging 21 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals per game ... Scored a career-high 40 points to lead Providence to an upset 60-46 victory over Flintridge Prep to snap the Wolves' 72-game winning streak ...
