THIS YEAR: As the top veteran in the post, the Cougars need senior Andrea Macciola to step up offensively ... Extremely strong and aggressive players ... Terrific work ethic .. Plays well with her back to the basket ... Has good fundamentals ... Difficult to stop down low ... Needs to be more offensively minded.
JORGENSON SAYS: "Andrea can be the leading rebounder in the GSAC ths year. She is a strong lady and has a nose for the ball. She has got to want the ball more and go to the bucket and provide the maturity and consistency we need in the post."
1996: As a 1996 junior, started 26 of 27 games, averaging 28.0 minutes ... Had a career-high 14 rebounds against Cal Lutheran and San Francisco State ... Tallied a career high 20 points vs. Biola ... Shot an outstanding .543 (114-for-210) from the field, good enough to lead the GSAC ... Led the Cougars in rebounding in 9 of 27 games ... Second on the team in rebounds (7.7 avg.) ... Led the team in blocked shots with 23, including a school-record 7 vs. Concordia.
1995: As a 1995 sophomore, was the Cougars' top reserve, coming off the bench in all 30 games ... Averaged 5.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in 19 minutes of play ... Was the Cougars' top rebounder in 3 games, including when she grabbed a season-high 11 vs. The Master's ... Put together a pair of back-to-back double-doubles (points-rebounds) vs. Puget Sound (10-10) and Occidental (12-10).
1994: As a 1994 freshman, appeared in 20 games ... Averaged 2.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 9 minutes of play ... Had game bests of 9 rebounds (vs. Fresno Pacific) and 11 points (vs. The Master's).

Sister, Debra, is a former Cougar player and assistant coach ... As a sophomore and junior competed on Azusa Pacific's national-renowned track & field program and posted a seaosn-best 36' 11" in the shot put.
