THIS YEAR: A do-it-all type of player, Amy Lemm is pursuing her third straight All-GSAC honor . . . Can shoot from the perimeter or create shots in the key . . . Can break down opponents off the dribble . . . Rated a good defender and perhaps the best rebounding guard in the GSAC . . . Very active on the floor . . . Has never missed a start in her 63-game career . . . Has 225 steals in just 2 seasons of play.
1999: Started all 32 games . . . Named All-GSAC for the second straight season . . . Averaged 12.7 points, second best on the team . . . Was leading scorer in 12 games with a season-high 21 points vs. Chapman . . . Led the team in rebounding in 10 different games, including a season-high 15 vs. Concordia . . . Had 4 double-doubles (points & rebounds), including 3 straight late in the season . . . Had career-high 11 steals vs. Fresno Pacific . . . Led Cougars in free throw percentage, canning 81% (107-of-133), second best in the GSAC.
1998: Honored as a 1998 All-GSAC pick following her 1998 sophomore campaign . . . Averaged 10.5 points and a team-best 8.2 rebounds . . . Scored in double figures in 5 straight games ending the season, averaging 13 points during that streak . . . Dished out a career-high 6 assists against both So. Cal College and Point Loma Nazarene.
UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO: Played 1 season for coach Julie Holt at the University of Idaho . . . Averaged 1.4 points, 1 rebound and 6 minutes in 19 contests.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Moscow (Ida.) High School from which she graduated in 1996, and lettered 3 years in basketball, 3 years in volleyball, and 4 years in tennis . . . Averaged 15 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.8 steals, and 3.6 assists her senior season . . . Team posted a 23-1 record during her 1996 senior season on their way to a 17-0 conference mark, a conference title and the Idaho state championship . . . Named All-State second team as well as the MVP of the A-2 Conference.
