Prior to APU

Hernandez-Ah Mu joins the Cougars after a standout career at Helix Charter High School under Head Coach Molly Sturdivant. A defensive powerhouse behind the plate, she was a key contributor to the Highlanders' success in the San Diego Section.

During her high school career, Hernandez-Ah Mu demonstrated consistent growth and championship poise:

• Championship Success: Helped lead her program to a 2025 CIF Division II Championship.

• Varsity Mainstay: Earned a call-up to the Varsity roster halfway through her freshman season and remained a starter for the following three years.

• Club Experience: Developed her skills through high-level competitive play in the San Diego region.

Personal

Born on February 24, 2007, to Tiffany and Mathew Ah Mu. Tatiana is a Youth and Family Ministries major with a deep commitment to her faith; she identifies the Bible as her favorite book to read. A true San Diego native, she loves surfing, going to the beach, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
