THIS YEAR: Senior Mandy Dorow looks to improve on one of the most successful campaigns in Cougar history ... Provides good team leadership with her committed work ethic ... Has good velocity and movement on her pitches.

2000: Named GSAC Pitcher of the Year and NAIA All-American first team after a 26-6 campaign, which included an 11-1 record in GSAC games ... Became the fifth Cougar ever to win 20 games in a season ... Compiled a sparkling 0.95 ERA, including a remarkable 0.51 ERA in GSAC games ... Walked the leadoff batter, then became the first Cougar ever to retire 21 consecutive batters while throwing the seventh no-hitter, and only the second 7-inning no-no in Cougar history in a 4-0 victory over St. Ambrose (Iowa) in the NAIA National Tournament ... One of 4 Cougars named to the NAIA Softball Championship All-Tournament team ... Hurled 3 additional 1-hitters ... Struck out a career-high 7 batters in a 5-4 victory over Biola ... Won all 4 NAIA Tournament starts, shutting out 3 NAIA Tourney opponents, including a 5-hit, 5-strikeout performance in a 7-0 victory over Simon Fraser (B.C.) to send the Cougars to the national championship game.

RIVERSIDE COLLEGE: Played 2 seasons for coach Bev Wimer at Riverside Community College, a member of the Orange Empire Conference ... As a 1999 sophomore, named all-conference first team ... In her 1998 freshman season, notched 25 wins and was named all-conference second team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered 3 years in softball and 4 years in soccer at Hesperia (Calif.) High School ... Named team MVP her junior and senior years ... Earned all-league honors in softball and soccer in both her junior and senior seasons.
