2024: In her first season with the Cougars, she made an impact in 40 of 52 games, showcasing her versatility on the field … Made her presence known early with three putouts in a preseason victory over Adelphi … Delivered a standout performance against Cal State San Marcos, starting in the outfield, going 2-for-4 at the plate, and crossing home for a crucial run.Â
Prior to APU
Burns joins the Cougars following a highly decorated career at Poway High School under Head Coach Jim Bennett. A natural leader and a proven winner, she served as team captain during both her junior and senior seasons, anchoring the Titans' outfield.

Born on March 12, 2005, to Bobby and Tami Burns. Hailey is pursuing a degree in Psychology and is a native of Ramona, California. When she isn't on the diamond, she enjoys surfing, hiking, and heading to the beach.
