Azusa Pacific University Athletics

Charles Moronez arrived at Azusa Pacific prior to the 2022 season. Prior to joining the Cougars’ coaching staff, Moronez spent several years as a coach on the travel ball circuit, with his most recent team being So Cal Athletics. Moronez will primarily work with the Cougar pitching staff.

 Moronez and his wife Rose have a son, Nathaniel, and a daughter Mariyah. Nathaniel attended Chaffey College and UC Riverside, and daughter Mariyah attended and played softball for La Sierra University. In his free time, Moronez enjoys leading bible studies, camping, and fishing.
