2015 (offseason): In the summer, earned two ATP World Tour ranking points to become ranked No. 1614 in the world... In Kenn, Germany got a win over Tomlslav Jotovski, who is ranked No. 526 in the world... Earned his second ATP ranking point in Claremont, Calif. with a 6-3, 6-4 win over USC's Robbie Bellamy in the first round... Successfully qualified for five main draw ITF futures tournaments... Paired with Azusa Pacific graduate Gary Yam in Claremont to defeat an American duo, 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 and earn a doubles ranking point... Won the NCAA Division II Fall National Championship singles title... Won five consecutive matches in the regional to win the title and advance to the final eight... Defeated three seeded players in the regional, including No. 3 seed Axel Bouillin from UCSD in the final, winning 6-2, 6-0... In Sumter, S.C., was the No. 1 seed of a draw featuring the eight regional champions... Won all of his last six sets of the tournament, defeating players from West Liberty, Drury, and Armstrong State in the championship... Advanced to the Super Bowl and defeated Noah Farrell, the Division III National Champion, 6-3, 6-2... Finished the year on an 18-match winning streak in singles... Became the No. 1 player in the nation after defeating former No. 1 Fernando Bogajo from Armstrong State, 6-2, 6-2... Only three sets lost in total, winning four of his titles without dropping a set in the tournament... Defeated Michel Dornbusch, who was ranked No. 586 in the world on the ATP... 2014 (sophomore): Finished the year as the No. 5 singles player in the country with a record of 22-3, including 20-3 at No. 1 singles... Won 2-of-5 sets against Petr Michnev, who was ranked No. 2 in the nation... Defeated Ahmed Triki, who finished the year ranked No. 3, 6-2, 6-3... Wrapped up the season with a 10-match winning streak... Twice defeated Thomas Gely, the No. 1 singles player for No. 9-ranked Fresno Pacific, winning all four sets 6-0... In doubles, went 22-8 at No. 1, partnering with Pascal Engel and Gary Yam... With Yam, went 15-1, finishing the year ranked No. 22 as a doubles team.
2013 (freshman): Had an impressive freshman campaign, finishing with a 21-1 record in singles play to help Azusa Pacific clinch the NCCAA national championship ... Spent most of the season at No. 3 and No. 4 singles ... Went 2-0 against nationally ranked opponents ... Teamed with Jochem Hoefnagels for a 22-5 doubles record ... Earned NCCAA All-Tournament recognition in doubles ... Named PacWest Freshman of the Year, and took home second-team PacWest honors in singles, and first-team recognition in doubles.
JUNIOR CAREER: Reached a career-high junior ranking of No. 548 in the world despite never playing a full schedule of juniors events... Had a career record of 10-9... Played the 2010 Dema Cup in Sofia, Bulgaria and won the title as a qualifier... In the semifinals, defeated Laslo Djere 6-2, 7-5, who is now ranked inside the top 200 in the world...
