THIS YEAR:  Senior Rhoman Goyenechea is a hard-working midfielder who serves as one of Azusa Pacific’s spiritual leaders … Has good vision and is a quality passer … Is highly technical and has a strong understanding of the game … Overcomes size with superior technique.
 
2006 (Junior):  Played in 4 games … Registered his first career point on an assist in the second half of an 8-0 win over San Diego Christian, then scored his first career goal 10 minutes later in the same game … Took 3 shots, all in the victory over San Diego Christian.
 
2005:  Attended Azusa Pacific but did not play.
 
2004 (Sophomore):  Appeared in 8 games which included 2 starts … Took 3 shots.
 
2003 (Freshman):  Appeared in 2 games in attempt to come back from a knee injury.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 4 varsity seasons at Sumner (Wash.) High … Was a 3-time all-league selection … Also played 2 seasons of football (placekicker).
