THIS YEAR:  An experienced player with more than 40 collegiate games under his belt, senior Morgan Johnson is looking to make an impact in the Cougar backfield now that he has a year in the APU system ... Will push for starting duties.

2023: Transferred into Azusa Pacific and started all 10 games he played for the Cougars … Recorded 745 minutes of play with one shot on goal against Cal State Los Angeles.

CANADA:  Played 2 years of junior college soccer at Canada College in Redwood City, Calif. ... Appeared in 33 games for the Colts, starting 31 ... Scored 3 goals and assisted on 2 others during his 2022 sophomore season ... Named All-Coast Conference first team ... Tallied the game-tying goal in Canada's eventual 2-1 OT victory at College of the Sequoias in the opening round of the CCCAA playoffs ... Had 4 assists in 13 games as a 2021 freshman ...
