THIS YEAR:  One of 6 freshman to dot the Cougars' 36-man roster, Logan Race might prove to be the best of all the Cougar rookies and expected to push for significant playing time in the Cougar back ... Considered to be highly intelligent about the game and very skilled coming out of high school.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Prepped 4 years for Head Coach Jon Restani at powerhouse Pleasant Grove High in El Grove, Calif. ... Played in 40 games during his Eagle career, tallying 24 goals and 16 assists ... During his 2024 senior season, played a key role in leading Pleasant Grove to a 13-5-3 record and the quarterfinals of the CIF playoffs ... Had 14 goals and 7 assists during his 2021 freshman season before moving the defense for the remainder of his prep career ... The Eagles went 34-29-11 during Race's 4 seasons, but 24-10-5 over his final 2 seasons.

PERSONAL:  Birthday in Nov. 25 ... Has not yet declared a major ... His uncle, Donny Dequine, played soccer 4 years (2003-06) for Azusa Pacific, appearing in a pair of NAIA championship games.
