1994:  After a strong 1993 junior campaign, Jose Perez has developed the tools and speed to be one of the GSAC's top scorers this year ... An All-GSAC candidate ... Worked hard over the spring and has developed into a fine outside midfielder.

1993 (junior):  Enjoyed a surprising 1993 sophomore season, leading the team in scoring with 15 points (6 goals and 3 assists) ... Started 18 of the 20 games he played ... Notched Azusa Pacific's only multi-goal games, tallying a pair of goals vs. Occidental and again against Concordia ... Led the team with 46 shots ... Did not start the season opener vs. Bethel, yet scored a goal and assisted on another and thus was awarded a staring spot.

1992 (sophomore):  Transferred to Azusa Pacific from Mt. SAC and appeared in 13 games, starting 1 as a 1992 sophomore ... Did not score but assisted on 3 goals

HIGH SCHOOL:   Graduated from Sierra Vista High in Baldwin Park, Calif., in 1989 ... Along with soccer, also played football and ran track.
