THIS YEAR:  Senior transfer Elijah Mwansanga steps into the central midfield with the unenviable task of filling the shoes of 4-year starter and second team NAIA All-American Skelly Kellar … Provides depth and maturity to a squad that features 14 newcomers … Has a great work rate and defends very well.
 
OKLAHOMA BAPTIST:  Played his first 3 collegiate seasons at Oklahoma Baptist, helping the Bison to the only NAIA Tournament appearance in program history in 2005 … Played 55 games over the past 3 seasons, registering career totals of 6 goals and 6 assists … Named All-Sooner Athletic Conference second team, scoring 3 goals and assisted 4 more as a 2006 junior … Scored his first goal of the 2006 campaign in a 4-2 defeat to Azusa Pacific, testing Cougar goalkeeper James Crawford with 3 additional shots on goal … Scored a pair of first-half goals to lead the Bison to a 3-2 overtime win over eventual NAIA Region VI champion and NAIA Tournament participant Southern Nazarene (Okla.).
