1994:  One of just 4 seniors on the team, Dave Belden is a leader on what is a very young team ... A good shooter who uses his body well and is strong at holding the ball ... Figures in frontline rotation, possibly in a reserve role.

1993 (junior):  Sat out the 1992 season but came back to appear in 19 games, starting 17, during his 1993 junior season ... Was second on the team with 42 shots and tallied 2 goals (in back-to-back games vs. Cal Baptist and Point Loma Nazarene) and 2 assists ... His 6 points were second best on the team.

1991 (sophomore):  As a 1991 sophomore, played in 20 games, scored 2 goals and had 1 assists.

JUNIOR COLLEGE:  Played 2 seasons for Head Coach George Logan at Cuyamaca Community College in San Diego ... Scored 8 goals and 17 points during his 1989 freshman season and led Cuyamaca to a third-place finish in the California State Junior College Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played at Christian High in El Cajon, Calif. ... Was a 3-time All-Central League and 2-time All-CIF pick ... Graduated in 1989 as the school's all-time leading scorer wih career records for goals and assists.

PERSONAL:  Born April 20, 1971, in San Diego, Calif. ... Physical education major.
