THIS YEAR:  Junior Chris Athanasiadis has the potential to be an impact player for the Cougars if he can overcome the injury bug that has plagued him since his arrival in the program in 2022 ... Has appeared in just 6 games over the past 2 seasons, starting 2 ... Hoping to be at full strength this year by mid-season.

2023: Appeared in 4 straight games in a late-season stretch, starting one (at Hawaii-Hilo) and totaling 115 minutes for Azusa Pacific … Recorded a goal and an assist, both in the second half, during the Cougars' 5-0 PacWest victory at Chaminade. 

2022: Transferred into Azusa Pacific, returning to college soccer after a 3-year layoff ... Appeared in just 2 mid-season games, starting one (vs. Academy of Art) ... Totaled 43 minutes on the pitch while collecting 2 shots on the year.

ST. MARY'S:  Spent his 2019 freshman season at NCAA Division I St. Mary's College in Moraga, Calif. ... Practiced with the Gaels but did not get on the field during the season.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUBS:  Attended Northwood School, a prep school in Lake Placid, N.Y. where he played for the Black Rock Football Club.
