THIS YEAR: Entering her second season with the Cougars, Amanda Albertini expects to have an significant impact on the Cougar's 2025 campaign ... A powerful offensive threat and one of the four returning starters.. Should push for conference honors and possible all-regional recognition.
2024: In her first year at Azusa Pacific, appeared in 26 matches, all of them being starts for the Cougars ... Was third on the team in blocks (62) and fifth in kills (154) ... Had a season-high 13 kills to go along with 2 blocks in a 5-set loss at home against Concordia ... Tallied a season-high 5 blocks in a 3-set victory against Jessup... Opened the season with 37 kills in her first 20 sets with the Cougars over the course of 5 matches ... Earned PacWest All-Academic honors for her performance in the classroom.
GEORGIA STATE: Spent the past 2 years at Georgia State, an NCAA DI program out of the Sun Belt Conference ... As a 2023 senior, appeared in 24 of the Panther's 28 matches, starting 21 ... Tallied 113 kills in 75 set while fashioning a .233 hitting clip ... Tallied 39 blocks as well ... Best outing came in a 5-set upset of Sun Belt rival Marshall, recording season highs of 11 kills and 5 blocks, which included a critical kill that knotted the fifth set at 16-all ... Also had 10 kills and 5 blocks in a 4-set nonconference win over New Orleans ... Redshirtted the 2022 season after transferring in from UCI.
UC IRVINE: Signed with UC Irvine out of high school ... Appeared in just 1 match during her 2021 freshman season, and started the match against Cal State Fullerton, playing in 2 sets and recording 1 kill on 4 attacks to go along with 2 blocks and a dig in a 3-set loss.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered 3 seasons at Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High, playing for Head Coach Andrew Mabry … Was a 2-time All-Trinity League honoree as a sophomore and junior, and as a freshman helped lead the Lancers to the 2017 CIF Southern Section championship ... Did not play her 2020 senior season because of COVID … Named to the USA Volleyball A1 Training Team in 2017 and 2020… … Played For Laguna Beach Volleyball Club… Won the 2019 Girls Junior National Championship – National Division…. Was also a member of the National Honors Society in high school.
