Biography

PRIOR TO AZUSA PACIFIC: At Oklahoma State, Castro was the 2023 Big 12 1000m indoor champion, and he was a part of the Cowboys' distance medley relay team that won the indoor national title in the event this spring, as well as he was a Big 12 champion in the DMR in 2021. In addition to his success collegiately, Castro was also the 2021 1500m Pan American U23 Champion, 2021 800m NACAC U23 Champion, and a 2021 800m Central-American Champion while representing his home country of Costa Rica.
