Biography

THIS YEAR: A hard-nosed, physical player, senior Zedan Mutlu is looking to break through in the Cougar offense after a year in the system ... A tireless worker in the game, is noted for his assertive style of play that can create unique scoring opportunities.

2023: Transferred into Azusa Pacific and appeared in 13 of the Cougars' 17 games during his 2023 junior season ... Started 5 game… Collected two goals over 489 minutes of play … Scored the game-tying goal in the 36th minute in Azusa Pacific’s 1-1 draw in the season finale against Biola.

JUNIOR COLLEGE:  Played 2 years at Coffeeville (Kan.) Community College, where in 2 seasons he scored 6 goals in 32 games, 16 of which he started for the Ravens ... As a 2021 freshman, started 11 of 21 games and scored 4 goals while assisting on another for the 18-3-1 Ravens who advanced to the NJCAA Tournament pool play ... Appeared in 11 games, starting 5, during his 2022 sophomore campaign when Coffeeville posted a 9-8-1 record ... Played with current Cougar Raul Lavado.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUBS:  Attended Narrabundah College ... Played his club ball for Canberra Olympic ... In the states also played for Corpus Christi (Texas) Club.

PERSONAL:  Birthday is Feb. 16 ... Majoring in chemistry.
