Michaela Boyd was brought on as the Asssitant Sports Information Director for Cougar Athletics in the summer of 2024. Boyd joined the sports information department full-time after serving as a graduate assistant intern throughout the 2023-24 academic year.
Boyd played 4 seasons of soccer at her alma mater Palm Beach Atlantic (2019-22), where she earned a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors in May of 2023. Throughout her 4 seasons at Palm Beach Atlantic, Boyd started in 30 games and saw action in 39, logging 2012 total minutes.
While a member of the Sailfish soccer team, Boyd was elected to the NCAA Division II National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee [S.A.A.C.] where she served as the Sunshine State Conference Representative. While serving on S.A.A.C., she was elected to be the first-ever student-athlete to serve on the NCAA Division II President’s Council.
After graduating from Palm Beach Atlantic, Boyd spent an extra COVID-awarded season playing at Azusa Pacific in the fall of 2023 while pursuing a Master’s in Leadership, which she is still currently working towards.
