Biography

THIS YEAR:  One of 7 seniors who are enjoying their second year in the Cougar program, Sean Romo should emerge as one fo the Cougars' key players up front ... With a year of experience in the Blomquist system, is expected to enjoy a good offensive season ... Known for his maturity, provides much-needed leadership.

2023: Saw action in all 17 games, starting 12 of them … Recorded his only goal of the campaign in 3-0 win over Academy of Art, scoring the game's opening goal less than 20 minutes into play … Played 1232 minutes on the season.

MT. SAC: Played 2 seasons for Head Coach Juan Sanchez at state junior college powerhouse Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) ...  Played in 39 games in his Mountie career, scoring a pair of goals ... As a 2022 sophomore, started 15 of 23 games he played for the 17-7-2 Mounties, who advanced to the California state junior college championship game in Sacramento (2-1 loss to Oxnard) ... His lone goal of the season came in a 4-0 win over Allan Hancock, tallying the Mounties' first point less than 8 minutes into the contest ... As a 2021 freshman, appeared in 16 games, earning a starting spot in the final 10 contest (the Mounties went 8-1-1 in those games) ... Scored a goal in the opening game of the season, a 5-1 win over Mira Costa and then assisted on another.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 2 seasons of varsity soccer at Santa Fe High in Pico Rivera, Calif., both of which resulted in CIF playoff appearances ... Was a 2-time All-Del Rio League pick after scoring 13 goals and assisting on 6 others during her 32-game career with the Chiefs ... During his 2020 senior season, which ended just days before the nation-wide COVID shutdown, scored 8 goals and registered 2 assists ... As a 2019 junior, helped lead Santa Fe to the Del Rio league championship and the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division IV playoffs ... Played for Head Coach Erik Mallory.

PERSONAL:  Birthday is Feb. 6 ... Majoring in business management.
