THIS YEAR:  A good athlete, redshirt sophomore Josh Hardeman is working to find his place on a deep bench ... Is a good leaper and can play around the basket, if required ... Growing his court skills.

2024: In his first collegiate action on the floor, came off the bench in 4 games during his 2024 redshirt freshman season ... Scored 3 points on the season, all in a 96-69 win over Chaminade ... Also played in games against Northwest Nazarene, Central Washington, and Academy of Art ... Played a season-high 9 minutes against Central Washington.

2023:  Redshirted his first season at Azusa Pacific while adjusting to the college game and developing his skills.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Was a league MVP 3 years in a row, twice in the Philippines at Brent International School Manila (BISM) and once at Coventry Christian in Pottstown, Pa., during his 2021 senior season ... While at Coventry Christian, averaged 24.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, 3.9 blocks ... His career-best came in a 61-35 win over Lehigh Valley Christian, tallying a career-high 39 points to go along with 20 rebounds and 3 blocks ... Also lettered in track & field (jumps), volleyball, and soccer at BISM.

PERSONAL:  Born Aug. 18, 2002, in Manila, Philppines, to Todd and Robin Hardeman ... Has an older brother (Todd Jr.) and 2 older sisters (Kelly, Elizabeth) ... Kelly was a 4-year standout on the Cougar women's basketball team, earning PacWest and West Region Player of the Year awards in 2016 and graduated as the third-leading scorer in APU history ... His brother Todd played basketball at Vanguard and Westmont ... Father, Todd, was a standout forward at Westmont in the early 1980s ... His uncle, TJ, is the current head coach of the Azusa Pacific women's basketball team ... His grandfather, Tine, was the head basketball coach at Westmont in the mid-1970s ... Majoring in Business Management ... Enjoys motorcycles, fishing, hunting, and cliff-jumping.
