RIVERSIDE CITY COLLEGE: Competed in both swim and water polo under head coach Douglass Finfrock during the 2022-2024 seasons…Was named team captain in 2023…As a junior, played in 31 games and led the Tigers with 99 goals, nine assists, and 39 steals, totaling 108 points…As a freshman, appeared in 26 games with 62 goals, 10 assists, and 35 goals for 72 points…In swim, earned individual All-American honors in 100-yard Breaststroke (1:10.50), 200-yard Breaststroke (2:26.95), 200-yard Individual Medley (2:12.53), 400-yard Individual Medley (4:46.08) as a senior…Was also a part of the 400-yard Medley Relay which earned All-American…She posted top-five times in the State in the 400-yard individual medley and the 200-yard IM…Was named Orange Empire Conference Swimmer of the Meet for the second year in a row.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Centennial High School in 2022…Competed on the varsity water polo and swim teams from 2018-2022…Was named team captain in swim during her senior year and held the title during her junior and senior years with the water polo team…Was named water polo’s Team MVP as a sophomore…Earned First-Team All-League honors as a junior…In her senior season, was named CIF-SS MVP, Inland Empire First Team, First-Team All-League, and the team’s Offense Player of the Year while leading the team to a CIF State Championship.

PERSONAL: Born on March 15, 2004 in Corona, Calif…Daughter to Steven and Jennifer Nelson…Has two older sisters, Jamie and Jordyn…Hopes to one day open her own coffee shop.
