Returning letterman ... started in 23 games in 81-82 season after completing 16-week sit-out for eligibility ... was fourth in scoring with 266 points *(11.6 avg.) and second in assists with 97 (4.2 avg.) ... likes the running game and is a fine outside shooter ... will move to the off-guard position with the addition of Michael Loyd and should score more the that position ... won all-conference honors for his last year's play ... rated an excellent passer and shooter who likes to keep game moving at fast clip ... transferred from Idaho State where he was voted "Freshman of the Year" ... won Ocean View League MVP honors and was an All-CIF 3A first team pick during senior year at South Torrance High School ... also honored as South Bay Player of the Year.
