Azusa Pacific University Athletics

2025-26 Season Analysis Bryson has made an immediate impact in his first season with Azusa Pacific, earning a spot in the starting lineup as a sophomore transfer. He has seamlessly translated his scoring ability from the JUCO level to the PacWest, serving as a reliable secondary ball-handler.

EJ has shown he can step up in big moments, recently hitting a buzzer beater against Point Loma at the Felix Event Center, and was named APU's Athlete of the Month for the month of December.

Prior to APU

EJ joins the Cougars as a transfer from Santiago Canyon College, where he developed into a prolific scorer. Before college, he was a key piece for the JSerra Catholic Lions in the Trinity League under Head Coach Keith Wilkinson.

His basketball resume includes:

• College Honors: A standout at Santiago Canyon College, where he was named the OEC Offensive Player of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference honors after averaging over 16 points per game.

• High School: A four-year varsity player at JSerra, earning All-Trinity League Team honors.

• Club Experience: Played for Ocean City under Coach John Folleta.
