Azusa Pacific University Athletics

Tom Nelson is one of the finest all-around athletes ever to play at Azusa College.  After setting many records in basketball, baseball, and football in a brilliant four-year career, Nelson returned to his alma mater in 1964.

Nelson, Azusa's Athlete of the Year in 1960-61 and 1961-62, earned his Master's degree at Pasadena College.  Nelson also serves as the Cougars' head baseball coach.
