THIS YEAR: Senior captain Brad Alley is set to move into the starting line-up after a one year layoff . . . Is a great spot up shooter, and uses his strength to post up inside . . . Can provide instant offense . . . Noted as a tough defender.

1996: Appeared in all 34 games as a 1996 junior reserve for the GSAC champion Cougars . . . Teamed with older brother Greg to comprise an outstanding bench. . . Tallied season-high and game-high scoring honors with 19 points, thanks in part to 5-for-5 shooting from the 3-point arc, vs. Concordia (Calif.) . . . Had 15 points in a Cougar victory over Cal Baptist . . . Put together a 4-game stretch midway through the conference season in which he canned 16-of-27 (.592) shots, including 9-of-15 (.600) from the 3-point arc . . . Grabbed a season-high 6 rebounds vs. Fresno Pacific in opening round of postseason play.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Started all 27 games as a 1995 junior college sophomore at Mt. SAC for Ralph Ostercamp . . . averaged 13.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists . . . HIGH SCHOOL: A 2-time All-CIF and All-Valle Vista selection at San Dimas (Calif.) High . . . Averaged 14.9 points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting .503 (190-for-378) from the floor, which included a .490 (48-for-98) clip from the 3-point stripe . . . Named Los Angeles Times All-San Gabriel Valley and Valley Vista League MVP after leading San Dimas to the CIF Finals . . . In the CIF semi-final, canned a pair of game-winning 3-pointers in the final 30 seconds of the second OT . . . Scored a career-high 46 points vs. Arroyo High . . . Over his junior and senior seasons, led the Saints to a 49-12 record, 2 Valle Vista League titles and a pair of appearances in the CIF championship game.
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 9, 1974 in San Dimas, Calif. . . . His father, Tim, who played football at San Jose State, is a coach at San Dimas High.
