THIS YEAR: Junior safety Tommy Chance begins his first season with the Cougar football program after spending the previous 2 years at Cal Lutheran.

CAL LUTHERAN: Spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons as a member of the Cal Lutheran football program … He did not appear in any games for the Kingsmen.

HIGH SCHOOL: Put together an excellent prep athletic career, playing both football and baseball at Oakdale (Calif.) High ... Competed at safety and quarterback for Head Coach Garrett Martin and served as team captain as a 2023 senior when he earned All-Valley Oak League second team honors after completing 49-of-84 passes for 1,15 yards and 13 TDs for the 8-4 Mustangs who advanced to the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division 3 semifinals … Also rushed for 91 yards and 2 TDs … As a 2022 junior, named the team's Defensive Player of the Year and earned second-team All-Valley Oak League honors in 2022. ... Finished his varsity career with 1,219 passing yards and 13 touchdowns. ...
