High School: Was a two-sport athlete at Summit High School... Ran track & field for four years as a sprinter... Played varsity football for three years as a wide receiver and running back under head coach Tony Barile and Cesar Villalobos... As a sophomore, helped the team earn a 10-3-1 overall record and a second place 4-1 finish in the Sunkist League... Played in six games, taking 13 carries 119 yards for two touchdowns...
