2014 (junior): Played in 10 games and started in seven as a junior defensive lineman... Registered 29 total tackles, including 14 solos... Had a team-best 7.5 tackles for loss, including 3.5 sacks... Against Humboldt State, had a solo sack for a 7-yard loss and also recovered a fumble... Against South Dakota Mines, had a solo tackle two yards behind the line of scrimmage and recovered a fumble... 2013 (sophomore): Played in 12 games and started in 11 of them... Was named to second team all-GNAC for defense... Started first eight games at nose tackle... Against Western Oregon, started at bandit before returning to nose tackle for the final two games... In game as a bandit, tallied two solo tackle, which each went for a loss, including a four-yard sack and stopping a run two yards behind the line of scrimmage... Finished the season with 34 total tackles with 17 solo tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and 5.0 sacks... At Dixie State, registered three solo tackles, including a 9-yard sack and 3-yard run stop... 2012 (freshman): Played in all ten conference games as a reserve nose guard as a true-freshman... Made 24 tackles, including 13 solo tackles, which was the most among Cougar freshmen... Against Central Washington, had a fumble recovery and broke up a pass en route to the Cougar's first win of the season... In the following game against Western Oregon, tallied two solo tackles with a sack for a loss of 10 yards... Finished the season with 6.5 tackles for a loss, which was tied for the most on the team... Added 2.0 sacks unassisted... Against Dixie State, had 1.5 tackles for a loss, a sack, and a blocked kick.
High School: Played three years of varsity football under head coach Kelley Moore at Mesa High School... As a junior, was a member of the second team all-state for Arizona... Was a first team all-region selection... As a senior, was a selection for first team all-state, all-city, all-region, and all-section.
