THIS YEAR: Junior Sean O’Rourke is a good athlete who hopes to find a football home at Azusa Pacific after spending the past 2 seasons in 2 different programs … Has the ability tol compete for a starting spot at wide receiver and play a key role on the Cougar offense.

GOLDEN WEST: Spent the 2025 season at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, Calif., but did not appear in any of the Rustlers’ 13 games 

ITHACA: Spent his 2024 freshman season as a defensive back at Ithaca (N.Y.) College … Did not get into any games for the Bombers.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a 2-sport standout at Beckman High in Irvine, Calif., from where he graduated in 2024 ... In football, played wide receiver and defensive back under Head Coach Marcello Giuliano ... Played 3 seasons of varsity football, serving as team captain as a 2023 senior ... During that senior campaign in which the Patriots went 9-3 advanced to the second round of the CIF Southern Section playoffs, tallied team bests of 39 receptions for 620 yards and 8 TDs … On defense, had 27 tackles (22 solo) to go along with 2 interceptions and 2 pass deflections … Earned all-league first team at both wide receiver and cornerback... named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year ... Received the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award … Finished his 16-game varsity prep career with 49 grabs for 710 yards (14.5 avg./catch).

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 28, 2005, in Irvine, Calif., to Tom and Dustin O’Rourke ... Has one sister (Kiley), who played softball at Monmouth University ... Majoring in Business ... Enjoys sports, business and video games.
