2015 (junior): Practiced with the team but did not appear in any games. 

High School: Was a two-sport athlete at Monterey High School, playing volleyball and football... In volleyball, lettered all four years and played setter... In football, had two years on varsity as a safety and wide receiver under head coach Tom Newton... Was named to first team all-Monterey Bay League as a safety and had a county-high eight interceptions.

Hartnell CC: Played for two years as a safety at Hartnell College... Led the team to two conference championships and as a freshman, played in the Living Breathe Foundation Bowl, leading the Panthers to victory.

Personal: Born on Sept. 23, 1992 in Torrance, Calif. to Royce and Regina Redira... Has one brother, Ryan, and one sister, Renea... Cousin, Jacob Kahawaii, is a football coach at Weber State... Uncle, Robert Anae, is a football coach at BYU... Is majoring in applied exercise science... Wants to be a physical education teacher and a coach after time at Azusa Pacific.
