THIS YEAR: A sixth-year member of the program, veteran Ricky Vichot is a key player on the Cougar offensive front … Understands the Cougar scheme very well … Has played in 20 games during his Cougar career … Figures to play a significant role in the success of the Cougar ground game … Could push for postseason honors.

2017 (junior):  Appeared in all 11 games as a fourth year junior, starting five, including four of the first five games … Was part of an offensive front that produced 30 rushing TDs and 181 rushing yards per game.

2016 (sophomore):  Missed the first six games of his 2016 sophomore season while gaining full strength from the injury the season before … Appeared in four of the final six games, starting the NCAA playoff contest at the University of Sioux Falls.

2015: Injured in fall camp and did not play during the season.

2014 (freshman): Played as a reserve offensive lineman in five games, including each of the first four to start the season.

2013 (redshirt): Practiced with the team in his first season at Azusa Pacific.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years of varsity football under head coach Gilbert Jimenez at Warren High in Downey, Calif. ... Captained the team for one year... Was a two-time All-San Gabriel League honoree, including first-team recognition as a 2012 senior … Named team’s best offensive lineman as a junior and senior.

PERSONAL: Born on Nov. 11, 1995, in Downey, Calif., to Annette and Ricky Vichot ... Has two brothers (Bryan, Adrain)... Majoring in applied exercise science.
