THIS YEAR: One of the most experienced linemen on the Cougar offensive front, senior Mike Hauser is a versatile player who can plug into any spot on the front … Should contend for a starting role … Fundamentally sound and rated a good blocker. 

2005: Appeared in 6 of Azusa Pacific’s 10 games, starting 4 of the first 5 before an injury slowed him. 

2004: Was sidelined much of the season with injury but did come off the bench in 2 games late in the season. 

2003: Came off the bench in several games for his first live collegiate play, filling in at both guard positions … Played behind an extremely experienced set of linemen. 

2002: Attended Azusa Pacific and practiced with the team but did not appear in any games. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 2 seasons of varsity football for coach Doug Shafer at Horizon High in Scottsdale, Ariz. ... As a 2001 senior was a key member of a 12-2 Husky squad that won the 5A regional title and advanced to the state semifinals. 

PERSONAL: Son of Tom (insurance sales) and Maria (manager) Hauser ... Has 2 brothers (Chris, Tom).
