Biography

2019 (redshirt junior): Played in 8 games as the top edge rusher for the Cougars… Earned All-GNAC Second Team Defense honors finishing with 29 tackles, including 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks… Recorded six games with multiple tackles and four games with at least one tackle for loss… He was top-14 in the GNAC in both tackles for loss and sacks…  Recorded a season high 10 tackles and a sack at Western Oregon.

2018 (junior):  appeared in one game against Simon Fraser on Sept. 8

2017 (sophomore):  Missed the season-opener and then appeared in the final ten games in a reserve and special teams role as a 2017 sophomore … Finished with nine tackles, including two for loss and 1.5 sacks … Had a career-high four tackles (three solo), including one for loss, in a victory over Colorado Mines.

2016 (freshman):  Appeared in nine games as a true freshman, including the Cougars’ 2016 NCAA playoff game at University of Sioux Falls … Recorded nine tackles, including six solo, with 3.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks … Had two tackles and sack in a win over Western Oregon.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played two seasons of varsity football for head coach Troy Star at Helix High in La Mesa, Calif. … Named to the San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic team as a 2015 senior … Also played Rugby at Helix.

PERSONAL:  Parents are Thomas and Doreen … Has one brother (Boaz) and two sisters (Valasi, Elenai) … Majoring in marketing.
