2018 (sophomore): Played in three games... assisted on a tackle in win over Simon Fraser

2017 (freshman): Appeared in two games ... had two tackles for loss against Simon Fraser, including his first career sack

2016 (redshirt): Practiced with the team while focusing on his work in the classroom

HIGH SCHOOL: Played two seasons of varsity football for head coach Steve Bogan at Maranatha (Calif.) High … As a 2015 senior, assisted the Minutemen in earning a 7-5 overall record and playing in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section playoffs … Over twelve games, recorded 130 total tackles, including 37 solo tackles … Tried his hand at offense during the 2015 season, recording 83-yards rushing on 11 carries … Named All-Olympic first team and Defensive MVP for the Minutemen ... During the 2014 season, helped the Minutemen achieve an 11-1 overall record and an Olympic League championship title … Recorded 35 total tackles, including 18 solo tackles … Named All-Olympic second team … Captained the Minutemen for one season. 

PERSONAL: Parents are David and Tammy Johnson … Has two brothers (Erik and Caleb) and one sister (Madie) … Brothers Erik (2014) played football at Azusa Pacific University, and Luke (2020) currently plays on the team … Majoring in business management … Hobbies include spearfishing.
