THIS YEAR: The exceptionally quick and athletically gifted Louis Jamison returns as a key member of the secondary … Should defend well against opposition deep passes … Also one of the team's top returners on kickoffs … Provides good team leadership. 

2002: Started all 9 games at "bandit," a variation of a safety … Had 33 tackles (ninth on the team) with 4 for loss … Had a career-high 9 (4 solo) in the season-opener vs. San Diego … His lone interception came at Chapman and it led to a TD … At Cal Lutheran had a monster hit on the QB, forcing a fumble that led to a TD … Returned 4 kickoffs for 132 yards (33.0 avg.), including a career-best 64-yarder to setup a TD vs. Humboldt State. 

2001: Appeared in all 9 games, starting 1 at free safety … Had 14 tackles (10 solo), fifth among Cougars DBs … His best game came in his only start, tallying a season-high 4 tackles, including an 8-yard sack … Was Cougars' top kick returner, averaging 23.4 yards, including a season-best 46-yarder that set up a TD vs. Cal Lutheran.
