High School: Played his senior season of football at Monrovia High School as a running back for head coach Ryan Maddox... Averaged 13.5 yards per carry as a senior, taking the ball 164 times for 2206 yards and 35 touchdowns... Ran for a touchdown in every game, including one game where his only two carries both resulted in touchdowns... In his second game of the season, carried the ball just 12 times, but ran for 287 yards and five touchdowns, including a 94-yard carry... Had a three-game stretch in which he combined for 670 yards and 12 touchdowns on just 35 carries... Had six catches on the season going for 173 yards and four touchdowns... Against San Marino, ran the ball 10 times for 242 yards and three touchdowns, made two receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns, and returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown...
