High School: Played football for two years as a defensive end at Segerstrom High School under head coach Mike Maceranka... Captained the squad for a year... As a junior, led the Jaguars to a record of 9-3... Was named to first team all-Golden West League, leading the league with 11 sacks... Led the Jaguars to another 9-3 season as a senior
