2015 (redshirt): Spent the season practicing with the team and taking classes. 

High School: Was a two-sport athlete at Monte Vista Christian High School in Watsonville, Calif. competing in football and track & field... Competed in varsity track & field for one season for head coach Stephen Sharp... Played two seasons of varsity football under head coach David Reese as a linebacker... In his senior season, made one catch for 15 yards on the offensive end... On defense led the team to six wins in a seven-game span in which opponents were held to les than 14 points in all six wins... The team advanced to the Division IV championship with wins over No. 6 seed Life Oak and No. 2 seed Pacific Grove.
