THIS YEAR: An impressive freshman who adds a lot to an already deep running back corps, Jude Anderson brings a unique blend of toughness and speed that will allow him to see time in the Cougar backfield during his rookie season … Has good field vision … Is a natural leader … Has a promising future on the gridiron.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 3 seasons of varsity football for Head Coach Corben Hyatt at state power Summit High in Bend, Ore. … Competed at running back for the Storm and served as team captain as a junior … As a 2025 senior, led Summit to a 12-1 record, the championship game of the Oregon 5A state tournament and the Inter Mountain Conference championship while rushing for a school-record 1,535 yards on 202 carries (7.6 avg) … For his efforts, named All-State 5A first team and All-Intermountain Conference first team … Scored all 4 TDs in Summit’s 28-14 state semifinal victory over Eugene Churchill High and then rushed for 124 yards on 8 carries in the championship game, earning offensive MVP for both games … Holds the school’s all-time squat record at 515 pounds … As a 2023 freshman, helped Summit go 12-1 and win the 5A state championship … Also competed in track & field for Head Coach Dave Turnbull.
