2015 (redshirt): Spent the year practicing with the team while attending classes. 

High School: Was a three-sport athlete at Vista Murrieta High
School, competing in football, wrestling, and track & field... Wrestled in the heavy-weight category... In track & field, competed in the shot put and discus... Had first full varsity season as a junior and was named the Broncos' team captain as a senior... Led the team to an undefeated league title as a junior and eventually the CIF-SS final in the Southwestern Division... Received the Set Back Come Back award and was named to the academic all-league team as a junior... In his senior season, took the team back to the championship game as undefeated league champions and received the CLASS award.
