THIS YEAR:  The Cougars' top returnee, junior forward Ethan Speaker is the center point of the APU offense ... Can score from the perimeter and in the paint ... Noted for his ability to move with and without the ball ... Has good ball-handling skills and will bring the ball up-court from time-to-time ... Uses his size quite well ... Should push for conference post-season honors.

2024:  Transferred to Azusa Pacific where as a redshirt sophomore appeared in 30 of the Cougars' 33 games, starting 29 at forward ... Was fourth on the team in scoring (9.5 avg.) and minutes played per game (27.7 avg.) while leading the squad in rebounding (6.3 avg.) ... Came on strong during the Cougars' postseason run to the NCAA regional finals, averaging 14.4 points while shooting at a .509 (27-for-54) clip over the final 5 playoff games ... Scored a season-high 21 points to go along with 9 rebounds in the Cougars' stunning 78-66 upset of regular-season champ and top-seed Point Loma in the PacWest Tournament championship game, leading APU to become the first No. 6 seed ever to win the conference tourney crown ... Named All-PacWest Tournament for his play ... Tallied 19 points, 6 rebounds, and a season-high 8 assists in an 87-85 victory over Hawaii-Hilo ... Had 15 points and 10 rebounds in 77-64 victory over Westmont, registering his only double-double of the season ... Had a season-high 13 rebounds in an early-season loss to Western Washington.

ARKANSAS-LITTLE ROCK:  Spent 2 years at NCAA Division I Arkansas-Little Rock ... Redshirted the 2022 season with a season-long injury ... As a 2023 redshirt freshman, appeared in 29 games, averaging 5.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in nearly 15 minutes of play off the bench ... Scored a season-high 16 points to go along with 9 rebounds in a win over Philander Smith ... Had ad 13 points 6 rebounds vs. San Francisco.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 3 seasons of varsity basketball at Boulder City (Nev.) High ... As a 2020 junior, led the entire state of Nevada in scoring, tallying 767 points in 30 games to average 25.6 points to go along with 11 rebounds a game ... Registered 8 30-point games, including a career-high 39 over Democracy Prep Agassi ... Led the Eagles to a 20-11 record ... Averaged 13.1 points and 9.2 rebounds as 2019 sophomore ... Did not have a senior season because of COVID ... Also played 2 years of tennis and competed a season in track & field.
