COLLEGE OF THE DESERT: played two seasons of football as a defensive back for the Road Runners … appeared in five games for College of the Desert … recorded 18 total tackles, including nine solo tackles. 

HIGH SCHOOL: played two years of varsity football, for head coach Ernest Martinez, at Twentynine Palms (Calif) High … as a 2010 senior, helped lead the Wildcats to an 8-4 overall record and an appearance in the second round of the CIF-Southern Section playoffs … recorded 64 total tackles, including 31 solo tackles … as a 2009 junior, assisted the Wildcats in achieving a 6-5 overall record, including a 4-0 De Anza League record, and an appearance in the first round of the CIF-Southern Section playoffs … recorded 43 total tackles, including 16 solo tackles … competed in track and field (200m and 400m) for two years for the Wildcats under head coach Ronda Lockett-Morton … captained the Wildcats’ football and track and field teams for one year.
