High School: Played three years of football at Inglewood High School as a defensive back for head coach Jason Miller... As a sophomore got more playing time as the year went on and started some games... Played in four of the five league games and collected a total of 16 solo tackles in those games... As a junior, became a regular starter and played in eight games and recorded 41 tackles, ranking third on the team in tackles per game... As a senior, tallied 35 solo tackles in just six games and also had a forced fumble and interception.

Personal: Born on Dec. 24, 1996 in Inglewood, Calif. ... Parents are Dominic and Jo-Ann Emerson... Dominic Sr. is a mechanical engineer and Jo-Ann works in customer service... Has two sisters, Davine and Deja... Is majoring in applied exercise science and wants to work as a physical therapist after graduation... Made honor roll all four years in high school... Enjoys working out and listening to music.
