Biography

University of Southern California: Was a part of the Trojan football program for five years as a tailback... In 2010, took a redshirt, while practicing with the team and taking classes... Was named Service Team Offensive Player of the Year... As a freshman with the Trojans, played in seven games, running the ball 42 times for 163 yards... Started against Minnesota and ran 18 time for 70 yards... As a sophomore in 2012, played in six games for USC and tallied 201 total yards on 41 carries... Against Arizona, had 63 yards and a touchdown on nine rush attempts... Against Colorado, took 10 handoffs for 52 yards and caught a pass for a 24-yard touchdown... Missed the 2013 season with a knee injury... As a junior in 2014, was switched to cornerback, but did not receive any playing time... Competed for one year at USC in the spring of 2012, competing in high hurdles... Placed fifth in the 110-meter high hurdles at the Pac-12 Championships with a wind-aided time of 14.21 seconds... Also has personal bests in the 100-meter dash of 10.6 seconds, 20.6 seconds in the 200-meter dash, and 37.6 seconds in the 300-meter IH.

High School: Played football all four years at Taft High School under head coach Troy Starr as a running back, wide receiver and defensive back... As a freshman, had 26 carries for 277 yards and three touchdowns... Also made one reception for two yards and seven total tackles, including six solo tackles... Against Granada Hills, took three carries 113 yards for two touchdowns... As a sophomore, became the team's featured running back and handled 181 handoffs for 1185 yards and 10 touchdowns... Made 21 catches for 235 yards and three touchdowns... As a junior, ran the ball 212 times for 1841 yards and 26 touchdowns... Was also the Toradors' leading receiver with 32 catches for 583 yards and seven touchdowns... Against Chatsworth, had 17 carries for 232 yards and five touchdowns and against Lancaster had 11 carries for 267 yards and three touchdowns... Led the team to the CIF-Los Angeles Section semifinals and an undefeated West Valley League title... As a senior, had 157 carries for 1453 yards and 20 touchdowns... Also threw for an 82-yard touchdown in his only pass attempt.. Made 23 catches for 251 yards and two touchdowns... Defensively, made 39 total tackles, including 29 solo tackles... Had at least one rushing touchdown in every game and against Notre Dame, ran 19 times for 235 yards and three touchdowns... Against Cleveland, had 100 yards and a touchdown both as a receiver and rusher... In track & field, ran the 110-meter high hurdles in 13.28 seconds at the IAAF World Youth Championships in Italy, which is the fifth best time ever at the competition.

Personal: Born on Jan. 3, 1993 to Dale and Kimbarly Morgan in Pacoima, Calif. ... Has two brothers, Josh and Chris... Has one sister, Brea'Shae... Brother, Josh, played football at Abilene Christian... Cousin is Steve Smith, who played football at USC and currently plays for the New York Giants... Graduated from USC with a degree in public policy and development with an emphasis in real estate development and is enrolled in the master's program for leadership... Wants to be an entrepreneur after time at Azusa Pacific... Is the owner of clothing line GUSTO, which stands for "Grind until success trumps odds."
